In a precedent that is the first of its kind at the level of the Republic, the Wayana Foundation estimated that it employs 9 people with Down syndrome and mild mental disabilities in one of the major companies, which is Beltone Financial, by concluding a cooperation protocol between Beltone Financial Holding Company and Wayana International Foundation to implement the project #Sho3’lak_Wayana
The Wayana Foundation has been able to transform the negative perceptions of people with disabilities into positive ones over the years and make an intellectual revolution to highlight the rights of people with disabilities and integrate them into society.
