The Wiana Foundation organized the second training workshop within the activities of the project “Raising the Capacities of Workers in Nurseries, Rehabilitation Centers, and Early Intervention Centers” in cooperation with the Heliopolis Administration for Social Solidarity.
The workshop aims to develop awareness of childhood sexual education and how to provide scientific sexual education to children. The workshop also focuses on how to make children aware of their bodies and privacy and answer their questions on this subject.
The workshop was held on Tuesday, August 23, at the headquarters of the Ahbab Al-Hadi Association in Gesr Suez.
Participated in the opening session:
• Mr. Ihab Mostafa, General Director of the Heliopolis Administration for Social Solidarity.
• Mr. Samah Ahmed, Head of the Rehabilitation Department in the Cairo Directorate. • Mr. Ashraf Al-Waziri, Director of the Rehabilitation Department in Heliopolis. • Ms. Yusriya Abu Zaid, Executive Director of the Wayana Foundation. • Major General Zakaria Bakhit, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ahbab Al-Hadi Association in Gesr Suez. A. has delivered Ashraf Al-Waziri gave a speech about the theory of child sexuality in the analytical school. In the second session, Dr. Ayman Al-Borai, a psychologist, discussed sexual education for children. In the third and final part of the training workshop, Dr. Nahid Abdel Khaleq, genetic diseases consultant at the General Administration for Disability Reduction, gave a presentation on gender identity and the negative effects of gender distortion from a medical standpoint. Ms. Yusriya Abu Zaid, Executive Director of the Wayana Foundation, extended her thanks and appreciation with a shield of honor to Major General Zakaria Bakhit, for hosting the training workshop, and for the efforts made by him in providing a suitable climate for holding the training workshop at the Ahbab Al-Hadi Association and providing all means to make the workshop a success. #IKNOW_WYANA #And _ with _ us _ always _ with _ you
